Our Emergency Departments (ED) treat almost 150,000 patient annually. They carry Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center designations. Our NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell ED serves as the receiving unit for the largest and busiest burn unit in the country, The William Randolph Hearst Burn Center. In addition, our affiliation with The Hospital for Special Surgery and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital further enhances our patient mix. Our NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia ED provides Pediatric Emergency Services for the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian.
